Snapshot Photography is owned and operated by Daquan Franks--a Navy Veteran and father driven by a passion to capture life’s most important moments. During his service as a U.S. Navy Sailor, Daquan had the opportunity to travel the world and was inspired to begin his photography journey after returning home to Southeastern North Carolina with an opportunity to review and reflect on some of his most memorable moments sightseeing and meeting new people who he often connected with despite their geographical, cultural, or religious differences.

Having realized the importance photography plays in storytelling and reflection, he chose to embrace it as an opportunity to spread joy by connecting and captivating spirits through his art. Daquan’s family and friends describe him as a charismatic, loving, and compassionate being who is known to bring laughter, joy, and bright energy to any space he enters. His work is evidence of his commitment to creating and capturing life’s most important moments with an eye for authentic energy.
